Thanx JP! If you're using the Mumble client then set the recording to
"Mode: Multichannel". That will create a separate .ogg file for each
participant, making it much easier to clean up the sound for the
podcast (adjusting the level and pan position of each participant
separately, moving clips forward or backwards to avoid multiple voices
overlapping, cutting out "Ums" and "Ahs").
I have a shared folder for LibrePlanet Ontario on my ownCloud
instance; contact me offlist for login credentials (available to
anyone on this list). You can dump the .ogg files in the "Raw audio
for podcasts" folder when you're done, and I'll eventually get around
to producing the podcast.
Or, if you want to produce the podcast yourself then you can upload it
to https://podcasts.libreplanet.ca/ ; contact me offlist for the admin
credentials.
So, now I *won't* be leaving a laptop recorder running :-)
