I agree. Maybe in the future there'll be ways to go over copyright law,
but right now it would be a bad choice. Now we are using it to "protect"
free software, and that's good.

Regarding the original question, well, if some nation does not respect
GPL, it will not respect any kind of different license, so, not
distributing software there would only damage people who need (for
practical reasons) our programs.
