Sorry for the late response, but I must agree with J. B. Nicholson. On
top of that I would add the following:
There are some people that favor the creation of exceptions for people
to break DRM, although these exceptions state that only researchers are
allowed to do so, not society in general. While this is a step forward,
it's not enough, as every member of society would need to be a security
researcher in order to be allowed to break DRM.
