Ugh, what a bizarre thing:
$ ar tv libunwind.a | tail -2
rw-r--r-- 11248/100 81248 Nov 4 10:32 2004 Ltables.o
rw-r--r-- 0/0 109128 Oct 29 03:19 2004 libgcc.a
This is clearly bogus.
