I unfortunately know very little about this library, but I'll see if I can manage to get any traction myself... I'm sure it will be rudimentary indeed if I do it but maybe someone else will be inspired to help, who knows.

Don't worry I wouldn't expect to see much anytime soon because Alpha is not exactly a hot platform these days.  It has its devoted followers though :)

If there are any pointers (no pun intended) regarding what one might start on first or any other helpful resources anyone may know of... let me know, I'm all ears!

Hi Eric,

AFAIK nobody is working on adding alpha support, so do not expect to
see it any time soon.

It is not impossibly hard to add rudimentary support for new
architectures, but it does take some time to delve into the details
how backtracing works on a given arch.

When it comes to Alpha, it's helpful that qemu seems to have alpha
support, so access to physical machine would not even be strictly
required.
