Really ? On my 466Mhz Pc linphone starts in half a second.
However, recently on debian sid, there have been very very slow gnome-2
libs that made every gnome-2 including linphone to work very very
slowly.
Fortunately, the problem disappeared after I run apt-get update and
upgrade a few days later.
