So if we are using Ubuntu LTS, CAN we install Linphone 3.6? I've been trying with the packages in the PPA but I keep running into unmet dependencies. Our lab runs Ubuntu LTS almost exclusively, so switching OSs isn't really an option.

Our Linphone PPA does not always provide backports. (They are difficult.)
For 3.6.1 on 'raring' I already had to package versions of 'srtp' and
'zrtpcpp' which are unavailable on the most up-to-date Ubuntu systems.

Hello,

Is this possible to make a video call in 16:9 window? I didn't find any 16:9 resolution in `Multimedia Settings' in linphone GUI. Most modern monitors are 16:9 and it would be good to have a video conversation window stretched at a whole screen without any bars.

Without backports this PPA is useless.
