I presume this is a bug. The wizzard seems to accept only usernames
starting with a letter. There is a bug describing this behaviour here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/linux.debian.bugs.dist/dDN-DEOVKU0 I would suggest trying a different account to verify if this is the case.
