Soren,
I have two Lumias? (930 and 720) connecting to a local Freeswitch server and
they both have two issues:
- There is an echo on the other side of the line (about 1 second delay) caused
by Linphone app. When I try another app (Zoiper) the echo is gone. None of the
other clients have this problem. When I set the in call volume lower (under
7/10), then the echo is hardly audible. It seems that the app is picking up the
sound on the speaker and retransmitting through the mouthpiece. When I mute the
linphone app, there is no echo on the other side of the line.
- There is noise on the line when using the Linphone app. With other clients
there is no background noise at all. It feels like the app is amplifying the
sound when there is silence, probably also the cause for the first issue.
I also have Linphone on a Samsung with Android, on an ipad and other clients on
my desktop/laptops, but all of these clients have excellent sound. I love the
app for its simplicity and speed, but it is not really workable as it is.
Anyone recognise this?
Developers, anything you can get solved!

I am excited about Linphone for Windows Phone 8.1
It installs fine on my Nokia Lumia 735 and it registers fine on our Innovaphone
phone system.
However, it has severe audio problems.
Considering that the Lumia 735 is one of the very latest models the problem
could be model specific.
Anyone out using this model without audio problems?
Anyone using other Lumia Windows Phone models with no audio problems?
