Hi Nabeel and thank you very much too!

 

It’s good to know that mediastreamer2 supports stereo.

However I’m afraid not to be an enough experienced user in order to take advantage of this information. :(

 

That said, do you have any idea why should Linphone recognize only the left channel of the stereo input on all three different computers I’ve tested?

Linphone uses mediastreamer2 which supports stereo, please see this link:

On that page, search for 'stereo' and you will find:

Channels adaptation (mono->stereo or stereo->mono): src/audiofilters/chanadapt.c
