User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/52.2.1

Ok found a solution.
As my sip provider uses a different port than 5060 I've to manually
modify linphonerc and add the following to the account settings:

[proxy_0]
........
firewall_policy=1
nat_address=<my router public ip>
sip_port=<the provider sip port>
sip_tcp_port=<the provider sip port>

These settings should be configurable from user interface.

Your user agent is doing stun/ice.

The contact address and sdp look correct.
You are not getting a response to the invite, which means you can't make calls.

I've attached my client log.

This is the legend:

a.a.a.a = my router public ip
b.b.b.b = sip server ip
ccccc = my sip account id
d.d.d = my private network
eeeeeeeeeee = my phone number

"does not work" isn't very helpful.
Seeing the log with inline sip trace might help.

Yes it uses a private ip.

Is the ip the linphone uses a private ip?
If so then "Direct connection" is not appropriate.

Linphone 4.1.1 uses a different ip than my router public ip so the SIP provider does not permit the connection.
With Linphone 3.9.1 using the "Direct connection" setting everything works correctly.
I need the same behaviuor in 4.1.1.
