Hi all

How do we use these Echo Tests? They could be handy.

I put the address into the "start a call" bar at the top and also tried adding as a contact in the "SIP Account(s)" field but neither worked.

Addresses tried:

sip:address@hidden

sip:address@hidden

First, try to call an echo test service.  E.g.

"Echo Test" <sip:address@hidden> 

or

"Ekiga Echo Test" <sip:address@hidden>

Second, in China I understand you have IPv6.  You can connect directly to another sip user without need of a centralized service:

"Your Friend" <sip:address@hidden:db8::1234:5678]>

Firewall will of course need to allow 5060 and the RTP ports you configured.
