I agree. Win uses _dfhkj.tmp and other such strange things as temporary
files. I still hold out my vote for either lynx.rc or lynxrc. I just
checked VMS, and it uses .lynxrc, but gopher uses gopherrc. on VMS where
it uses .gopherrc on unix. MicroEMACS uses .emacsrc on unix and emacs.rc
on DOS/Win systems.
