Well, at least a user OPTION to have two-spaces after
a "full stop", for those of us who download this stuff
and save the .txt from lynx, so that we can feed it into
text processors (scribe, tex?, (n)roff?) that can detect
end-of-sentence via two-spaces following any of certain
punctuation chars.
Likewise emacs, for "forward-sentence", etc.
