Only Akim and I have write access at the moment, so I think it would
be best if we made whatever changes now to save any similar confusion
for future developers.  We have a script for changing the repository
in a checked out working directory, so it shouldn't be a big deal to
switch over.  Akim, is that okay with you?  If so, please let Loic
know when you are ready to have the compatibility hack removed...
