When I try to open a directory with Edwin I get:
Internal error: The object #\x3a6 is not the correct type.
I thought this was because some of my files have Greek characters
but this also happens with #\x2019 which is just ordinary unicode.
This is with 10.1.11 on both Debian and macOS.
