Are you using the gui?  I have had a similar problem.  When I try to commit,
I get disconnected.  I have been able to commit them by telneting to 4000
and do it there.

When I¹ve downloaded a file using mldonkey, 50% of the time, when I try to
commit the file, nothing happens and I just need to trash the download.
Why¹s this? It¹s annoying.
