The problem might be that there is no nativ compiler for sparc so you have to build bytecode, try that too with cvs. MfG Goswinmy problem with building a mldonkey package is to get a working ocaml-3.06. the stable version is 3.04, the unstable 3.06 isnt working (nother libc) and if i try to compile ocaml by hand, i get errors while compiling the native compilers with make opt and opt.opt (afaiu). so what do you mean with build bytecode (sorry, not a programmer :-/ )i could post some error messages from the ocaml build if you are interrested ?!thanxs, d
sometimes the configure output is realy cool IF you read it: ;-/ ... Configuration for the native-code compiler: (not supported on this platform) ... so can i do without the native compiler ? i need them, right ? thanxs, d
