I finally managed to compile CVS versions of mldonkey after the recent
code reorganization. I had to get involved in some ugly hacking, though.
First, you have to allow mldonkey to find the ocalm includes. As root:
# cd /usr/lib/ocaml/3.06/caml
# for i in /usr/include/ocaml/3.06/caml/* ; do ln -s $i . ; done
This will get you rid of the cdk build problems. I'm still working on
finding a more elegant fix for this. Disabling soulseek at configure
time will also get you rid of zlib build errors.
I am building unofficial mldonkey packages for personal use.
If you want to build your own packages, you can take a look at
http://www.amayita.com/debian/mldonkey/debian/
Co-manatinership and contributions will be greatly appreciated.
I get a lot of lintian errors about manpages ;-)
I haven't tested recent CVS versions yet, comments appreciated.
Take care,
Amaya
