Yes, both of these can wait. I can take refactoring of the directory
structure when I get time and if/when we move the CVS repository to
tigris.org. It's non-functional and not super-important.

Agree, except I would like to get in the xml status code before the
4.2 release, so I can get monit to work with m/monit. I should have
the code ready this weekend.

Unless you plan to refactor the whole event engine, it shouldn't
require to much code to add an up-event in the existing code? If you
are planning to refactor, please let us know your ideas first. The
reason I say this is that I'm unsure if and what needs refactoring in
the event engine.
