[Nss-mysql-devel] problem with gdm and X

So I've been slowly testing nss-mysql in different environments and I seem 
to have a problem with X and gdm.  Gdm goes into strobe light mode while 
using nss-mysql and certain gnome apps when starting ximian just stop 
responding.  I'm not sure how to give useful information because I can't 
seem to find any real errors in the logs.  Any suggestions?  Is this 
known?  Work arounds?  As soon as I take mysql out of nsswitch, everything 
works fine.
