Follow-up Comment #12, bug #56976 (project octave): Thanks, Dmitri. That fixed it. I installed qt5-devel. I still have the same problem, though. Only the first instance of pause; works. My script creates a graph and then pauses. The graph's window grabs the focus. When I click on the Command Window the script continues and does not stop at any subsequent pause; If I relaunch the same scripts it does not pause at the first instance anymore.
