Follow-up Comment #9, bug #55630 (project octave):
@Andrew: Should this bug be re-opened, or a new one filed? Given that this
refers to a fairly old pre-release version of Octave (5.0.90) I would suggest
opening a new report.
Unfortunately, most of the core developers are running Linux and it has been
very difficult to pin down what is going on in this case. For stability, it
might be better not to run a native Mac app, but run a virtual machine with a
Linux guest OS and install Octave there.
