Follow-up Comment #17, bug #57399 (project octave):

'Qbb' transforms the section shown in comment #13 into a third variant. I also
cannot say whether one of the different interpolations is superior over the
other. The injected error has a similar magnitude as the additive noise in the
dataset. It is important to me that the mesh runs through the data points (red
dots do touch the mesh) and that the interpolation function is linear.

call in griddata.m reveals that we see the delaunay triangulation in the plots
in deed.
