Follow-up Comment #4, bug #57424 (project octave):

Interestingly, as IIRC JohnD discovered, swapping stanzas L.62-72 and L.73-83
in  __run-test_suite__.m  avoids the crash.
Just curious, does that fit into the conclusions so far as regards the cause
of the crash?
