Follow-up Comment #7, bug #57424 (project octave):

The pusblish.tst now passes (still without Pantxo's patch).

Unfortunately, Octave now exits unexpectedly a few tests later with
...\tests\fixed\sparse.tst being the last line in fntests.log.

I'll try and get a backtrace probably later this week.
