Details:

When running the test suite on Windows with hg id 56d94f86a659, Octave exits
unexpectedly on sparse.tst.
Unfortunately, the backtrace isn't very helpful:

Thread 12 received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Backtrace stopped: previous frame identical to this frame (corrupt stack?)

I forgot to disable stripping the files. Would that have helped?
Is there anything I could do to make this more helpful?
