Follow-up Comment #20, bug #58795 (project octave):

I'm not familiar with SUNDIALS IDA or the code in "__ode15__.cc". But it looks
like there are some casts between void* and IDA*. Maybe some alignment might
be off if types mismatch? But that might be a red herring.

For your tests on Linux: Are any of the tests skipped? Is
HAVE_SUNDIALS_SUNLINSOL_KLU set?
You might have to compile SUNDIALS (and maybe also SuiteSparse) with KLU to
reproduce the issue.
Or use MXE Octave for a native Linux build.
