Follow-up Comment #2, bug #64281 (project octave):
7.2.0: png and svg work.
8.2.0, hardware: png works, svg crashes.
8.2.0, software: all work.
Updated driver (to currently newest: v535.98) for graphics card (GTX 960M),
reinstalled 8.2.0 hardware version. No change (png works, pdf fail, svg
crash).
Thus, just not suitable for my (fairly old) graphics card, I'll use the
software version. This ticket can be closed. Thanks.
