Follow-up Comment #9, bug #61762 (project octave):

After some additional tests, it appears that the behaviour of __qp__ (as it
is) is not reliable when H is not positive definite.

As long as a better QP solver is not used, checking for positive definiteness
before calling __qp__ is therefore a safe choice.
