Follow-up Comment #6, bug #64349 (project octave):

The excel files are created with [https://www.nuget.org/packages/Spire.XLS
Spire.XLS]. As far as I see, the _creation date_ meta data have to be
specified explicitly by the document creator. If you don't, the files come out
without.
