Follow-up Comment #11, bug #64982 (project octave):

I At a first glance I have seen that the script update_ts_files still contains
the parameter -qt5 in the call of lupdate. Maybe this causes the trouble
unsder qt6. 
Sorry, I can not have a closer look before tomorrow evening.
