Follow-up Comment #10, bug#59737 (group octave):
It probably would have been clearer to say
"When the lexer recognizes the __FILE__ and __LINE__ keywords, it returns
character and numeric tokens, respectively, in..."
instead of
"__FILE__ and __LINE__ are expanded character and numeric tokens in..."
