Follow-up Comment #4, bug#65277 (group octave):

For what it's worth, I don't get these messages on a generic Kubuntu 22.04
machine.  But, this could be a race condition that is heavily dependent on
actual hardware timings.

Could you try starting octave as


octave -f
__run_test_suite__


which will not read any initialization files (user-specific or system-wide).
