           Fixed Release:                    None => 10.1.0 (current default)

Follow-up Comment #8:

I pushed a change to stop setting the 'clim' property in image.m.  See
https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/2edd93f097ff.  This seems to fix
the problem mentioned in this bug report.
 
I'll open a new bug report for the issue that 'clim' is updated when the data
itself is of TrueColor.
