Follow-up Comment #6:

This looks good.  I checked in one more changeset to use Octave coding
conventions in the BIST tests for mad.m and median.m (see
https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/38eb7d69c315).  This wasn't about
your changeset, it just caused me to notice that all of the BIST tests weren't
following Octave guidelines.

Marking bug as Fixed and closing report.
