Follow-up Comment #44, bug #65431 (group octave):

Sorry, not good to attempt pseudo code alongside actual code.

Strict definition: Fvcd wants column vector the length equal to 1, number of
faces, or number of vertices.  Cdata wants row vector of length 1 or number of
faces, or a matrix of size (vertices-per-face) x (number of faces).  

But, MATLAB let's you submit stuff sized for fcvd to the cdata property and
then fixes that for you.
