Follow-up Comment #62, bug #65431 (group octave):

For comment # 57.  

I attached a zip file.  This file does not address Nik's request.  I have not
been able to reproduce the FaceVertexCData crash today.  If I will not be able
to do that, I will have to walk back my earlier comments.  

The attached m file contains two input formats that you prefer.  The basic
observations from 8.2 Soft/8.4 Hard on window 64x are at the top of the file. 
After a figure is shown, look at the color and also do something (rotate,
drag, zoom) to it. I have zero issue with the histogram plot.
Performance/inconsistency is always from the two figures with patches.  
"inconsistency" is the keyword, what I experienced yesterday may or may not be
what I experience today. 

In prior communication with Dmitri, Dmitri did not observe the figure window
freeze and plot tool issues, I think, on a Linux build.
