Follow-up Comment #22:

I have pushed cset http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/bd8a946093d7
which should fix the issue for the file browser and the workspace view. The
variable editor does not use restoreState (). Changing status to ready for
test.
