Follow-up Comment #7, bug #65515 (group octave):

I think this does fall into the same pile of 'system opengl implementation'
issues we see.  Yes, we can probably close this report unless there's a way to
better tease out what specific action/function call is problematic, perhaps to
eventually lead to a workaround.

The only (bigger than this bug, maybe worth a separate discourse topic)
question could be to confirm that the issue is on their side and not some
overlooked aspect of our implementation. The only reason i put it that way is
that Octave is the only software I use that has as many opengl driver
dependent issues. But that could also just be limited awareness on my part.
