More or less OT, but related to the bash shell on Windows:

Normally, if some .zip or .tar.gz mxe-octave installation is expanded in a
user's profile, that Octave installation directory can be wiped again easily
by the user as long as the bash shell hasn't been used.
However, when using the bash shell it seems some pgp certificates get
installed in (IIRC) OCTAVE_HOME/etc/pacman/ and they can only be wiped with
Administrator credentials. At least, in my case.

I was wondering if this (=creating files with admin rights in a user profile
subdir for otherwise normal user SW) can be somehow avoided.
It's merely slightly annoying then a showstopper.
