Thank you for testing.
Those Heisenbugs are the worst indeed.
I tried to describe a procedure with which I think reproducing this issue
should be possible more or less reliably in bug #31080 (comment #81 there).
Are you able to reproduce the issue with that procedure?
Does it appear to be fixed if you use a recent nightly build?
