That is less than 8 weeks away. More like 7. I don't know that we have time to plan an effective meeting in that time, or even whether the key participants would be available to attend.

Last year we decided to postpone because it was unrealistic to organize a meeting with only a few months lead time, but instead of using the extra time to organize and allow participants to make plans, we are back in the same situation.

I hate to postpone again, but

  * Is there still enough remaining time to plan a successful conference?

  * Is there enough time to prepare posters and presentations?

* Are there scheduling conflicts among the key participants that we need to have attend to make this useful?
