Sure.
Please supply ready-baked instructions / code / data that I can feed 1:1 to
Matlab. I'm unfamiliar with mhsample so can't figure that out myself.

Once mhsample works, please try the examples from the on-line Matlab docs.
Doing that myself inspires most of my comments when reviewing external
contributions :-)
