Follow-up Comment #10, patch #10016 (project octave): Uncomment line 4. Comment out line 5. If that does not work do the same for line 6. I have written mhsample for octave. I'm confident I have created the function correctly from the theory. As I do not have Matlab I can not be certain the format of the input and output are the same. The layout of start and smpl are what I'm not sure about when the option nchain>1.
