Follow-up Comment #17, patch #10016 (project octave): slicesample in see also should be acceptable now as I implemented it patch #10019 I don't think axis equal is better, the focus is on the sampling and the distribution, not the random function I chose to integrate. Axis equal makes the distribution very flat and does not make it clear the samples are mainly in the high probability area.
