OK, I'll try to fix the texinfo and the other things. Even though I have no
clue about that Octave 7 error.

I use Octave 6.1 compiled with AMD libraries for BLAS/LAPACK (libblis and
libflame) and all those demonstrations are instantaneous on my desktop pc. You
should try to run them in a different order.

Deep learning sounds like a marketing scam to sell old statistics as new...
