As to the texinfo:
OTOH don't make too much out of it, no manual, just some more structure would
suffice.

On the array of labels: yeah, I know too little about confusionchart's use
senario's, sorry for that. Would the examples you give in comment #7 do nice
in the texinfo ....?
FYI I maintain other OF packages (io and mapping). I'm just helping here to
get your contributions in the statistics package because (1) it has no formal
maintainer and (2) it could be a long wait until some other developer familiar
with it's use cases turns up, and as long as it isn't in the package no one
will know about it ==> a chicken and egg problem.
It does mean that rigorous exposure and testing will only happen after a new
package release when others start using it and maybe hit issues and report
those on the trackers and mailing lists.

What helps here is that you already comply very well to Octave's coding and
style demands (whether they are reasonable or not; but they just do exist) so
that makes my job easier. Thanks for that.
