Follow-up Comment #25, patch #10021 (project octave):

A last bit of this patch report (sph_chk.m) has been pushed here:

I've adapted it so that it can check for specific struct fields so that each
individual function calling it just has to specify only the fields it
requires. Proper class of the struct field values isn't performed though.
Maybe later.
