I was unable to find several RPMs via rpmfind, such as gtk2, due to
some naming conventions Mandrake uses. (Does anyone else?) For
instance, gtk2 is found in gtk+2.0-2.0.3-1mdk.rpm, so searching for
"gtk2" does not find it. By going directly to a Cooker mirror I was
able to find packages for all needed upgrades, including pkg-config.

On the subject of "Building 0.11.94", I found that I was unable to
compile it except as root -- apparently ld does not run with all the
permissions of the user who calls it, so it was unable to find some
libX11 stuff it needed, even though I had correct permissions to see
the files. Oh well, no doubt a problem with my system. :)
